Overlapping areas of wildlife habitat and the White Mountain Wind Energy Project (WMWEP) shown on the following map demonstrate possible conflicts between wildlife management and the wind farm especially during the construction phase as the area will receive heavy traffic which will disturb wildlife. Managers will be able to use this map to aid in making decisions on whether to approve this project or find a more suitable site with less of an impact on wildlife.
